Bravecto Chew for Dogs

The Bravecto chew defends against paralysis ticks for 4 months and fleas for 3 months, and also treats brown dog ticks, bush ticks, Sarcoptes, Demodex and ear mites. It can be used in puppies over 8 weeks of age weighing at least 2kg, and is safe in breeding, pregnant and lactating dogs. Because it is eaten rather than applied to the coat, there is no application site to keep dry — which makes it the easier choice for dogs that swim or are bathed often.

Five bodyweight bands cover 2kg to 56kg, each stocked as a single tablet or a two-tablet pack. Alongside them sits the Bravecto 1 Month Chew, a pork-flavoured monthly chew in four weight packs spanning 2-40kg — useful while a puppy is still changing weight bracket, before moving to the longer-interval chew once an adult weight settles. For paralysis tick control, Bravecto is recommended alongside daily tick searching, as the risk of tick paralysis cannot be entirely eliminated.
