Cheeky Bird is a cage bird range built around three things: feeders and drinkers, natural timber toys, and ladders. This collection holds 20 Cheeky Bird products — four feeders and drinkers, ten toys, five ladders and a cage tidy — so you can fit out a cage from one brand and keep the timber, rope and bead components consistent.
Feeders, drinkers and the cage tidy
The feeding line-up runs from the Single D Cup Feeder, which mounts to the cage and holds one cup, to the Double D Cup Feeder for seed and water side by side. The Tube Drinker holds a taller column of water and needs topping up less often, while the Senior Tube Feeder & Drinker puts food and water in a single unit, which saves cage wall space in a smaller setup. The Black Cage Tidy is a skirt that fits around the bottom of the cage on an elastic band to catch scattered seed, and it is the difference between sweeping every day and sweeping once a week.
Toys and ladders
The toys are mostly natural timber blocks, beads and rope in different arrangements: the Block Stack, Block Swing, 6 Stack with Bells, Block & Rope with Bell, Cylinder & Rope with Bell, Spirals Sticks with Bell, Wood & Bead Circle, Hanging Tri-Bell, Triangle Spiral and Natural Rope Lattice. Bells suit birds that react to sound; plain block and rope pieces suit determined chewers, since timber is meant to be shredded and replaced rather than to last. Ladders come as the Angle Block, Square Block, 6 Step with Beads, 9 Step with Beads, and a Large Parrot 5 Step with heavier rungs and wider spacing. Match rung spacing to your bird — a small bird faced with parrot-sized rungs will just climb the bars instead.
Choosing for your cage
Measure before you buy. Hanging toys and tall ladders take vertical room a small cage may not have, and a cage packed with toys leaves no clear flight path between perches. Two or three items rotated weekly usually holds a bird's interest better than the whole lot left in place unchanged.
