A soft floating jellyfish that drifts on the filter current during the day and holds a glow for a while after the tank lights go off. It is a novelty piece rather than a scaping plant — children love it, and it gives a bare-bottom or quarantine tank something to look at.
Two sizes and two colours. Small (20g, carded) is the size of a golf ball once the tentacles hang; large (40g, clear boxed) is roughly double. Glow strength depends on how long the tank light has been on — it charges from the light, so a tank on a short photoperiod will glow more faintly and for less time.
Features
- Glow in the dark — charges under the tank light, glows softly after lights out
- Four options — small or large, green or yellow
- Floats and drifts — moves with the filter flow rather than sitting still
- Soft body — no hard edges in the swimming space
- 20g (small) / 40g (large) shipping weight
Care
Rinse under warm running water before first use. Rinse in old tank water at water changes — never use soap or detergent. Check the tether or suction attachment occasionally, as with any floating decor.
Worth knowing
This is decor, not enrichment. Fish that are easily startled may avoid a moving object in open water for the first few days.
