Long strap-shaped leaves rising from a central crown — the classic sword-plant silhouette, 25cm tall and only 90g. It is the least attention-seeking plant in the range, which is exactly why it works: sword plants are so common in real freshwater tanks that the eye accepts this one without question.
At 90g it is light for its height. Keep it out of direct filter outflow, or anchor the base under gravel or a rock.
Features
- 25cm — background height in a small tank, midground in a large one
- Strap-leaf crown — the most naturalistic shape in the range
- 90g — light, so seat it out of strong flow
- No maintenance — no lighting, CO2, fertiliser or trimming, and herbivorous fish will not eat it
Care
Rinse under warm running water before it goes in the tank. Every few months, lift it out and swish it in a bucket of old tank water to shift the algae film that settles on any decor — never use soap or detergent.
Worth knowing
Artificial plants do not take up nitrate or oxygenate the water the way live plants do. They are for structure, cover and looks — your filter and water changes still do the work.
