The biggest plant in the Amazon Jungle range: 35cm tall, 785g, and broad with it. This is a one-per-tank centrepiece, the plant everything else in the scape is arranged around.
Be honest with yourself about tank size before ordering. It needs 45cm of water depth to sit properly and a footprint to match — in a standard 2-foot tank it will fill the whole back wall and leave the fish nowhere to swim.
Features
- 35cm, 785g — the largest and heaviest piece in the range
- Dense multi-stem form — reads as a planted thicket, not a single stem
- Weight — holds position under any normal filter flow
- No maintenance — no lighting, CO2, fertiliser or trimming, and herbivorous fish will not eat it
Care
Rinse under warm running water before it goes in the tank. Every few months, lift it out and swish it in a bucket of old tank water to shift the algae film that settles on any decor — never use soap or detergent.
Worth knowing
Artificial plants do not take up nitrate or oxygenate the water the way live plants do. They are for structure, cover and looks — your filter and water changes still do the work.
