A peace-lily style plant, 40cm tall but only 200g — which tells you most of what you need to know about its shape. It gains height on slim upright stems rather than by bulking out, so it fits tanks that are tall but front-to-back narrow, where a bushy background plant would push the fish forward against the glass.
The trade-off is presence: at this weight it is a vertical accent, not a screen. If you want to hide a heater or filter intake, use two or three side by side.
Features
- 40cm tall, 200g — height without bulk
- Slim upright habit — suits narrow tanks and tight corners
- Broad individual leaves on long stems — the peace-lily silhouette
- No maintenance — no lighting, CO2, fertiliser or trimming, and herbivorous fish will not eat it
Care
Rinse under warm running water before it goes in the tank. Every few months, lift it out and swish it in a bucket of old tank water to shift the algae film that settles on any decor — never use soap or detergent.
Worth knowing
Artificial plants do not take up nitrate or oxygenate the water the way live plants do. They are for structure, cover and looks — your filter and water changes still do the work.
